Attached is the flyer for the Chartered Organization Representative training scheduled for October 1, 2016 from 8am until 12pm.  These trainings are only offered twice a year so encourage your CORs to take advantage of this opportunity.

In order to better serve our Scout families who are enrolling in Scouting this fall, the Scout Shop will be open on Sunday’s starting August 21^st  through Sunday, September 25^th.  The Sunday hours of operation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Just a quick reminder.  There is NO District Round Table scheduled for July 2016.  Our new Round Table Commissioner, Murad Asad, will take over beginning with the August District Round Table on August 16th at Christ the King Lutheran Church - 5575 Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree Corners (formerly Norcross), GA 30092.

Leaders-
If adults in your Pack/Troop/Crew change positions, please remember that a new application must be turned in for them designating the new position. The application must be complete with all signatures and include proof of YPT, but payment is not needed since they are already registered in your unit. Many units are changing Cub/Scout Masters and Committee Chairs this summer, but unless you turn in an application to the Council, the right person will not be contacted for pertinent things and the position change is not official.
