Many families are currently looking to join Scouting and if they do a web search they will be brought to www.BeAScout.org. This website has maps of Packs, Troops, and Crews searchable by zip codes and offers contact information for the leader. But many Button Gwinnett "Pins" on the map have outdated leader information. Please use the directions below to check & update your Pin.  

This will be an exciting event geared for new cub scouts who have just signed up as new cub scouts for the 2016/2017 school year.  It will be held at Rogers Bridge Park (4291 Rogers Bridge Road, Duluth, GA 30097).  A flyer is below.

Tiger Parents, join us at the Norcross Presbyterian Church for an exciting program geared towards getting you and your Tiger Scout off on a good foot, er, paw!  Learn all the essentials to making your son's first year in Scouting super fun, educational, and engaging.  As a parent, you will be taught the basics of how a Tiger Den is run and what to expect from your Den Leader.  If you are stepping up to be a Tiger Den Leader, first of all THANK YOU!, and second, you will learn how to plan, organize, and make it a great year for your Tigers.

While the parents are learning, the Tigers will be having fun!  Scouts/Adults will be on hand to play games, make crafts, and start to show the new Tigers a little bit of the fun they will have in Scouting.

Don't miss this perfect opportunity for becoming educated as to your Tiger year.  The room will be full of experienced Scouters who remember the feeling of the unknown when their son first joined as a Tiger.
