The Button Gwinnett District has the opportunity to elect new District Leaders on an annual basis. The District Nominating Committee formed under my leadership is charged with the responsibility of presenting a slate of nominees for the elected positions. As a Voting Member, you will have the opportunity to vote on the Nominating Committee’s recommendations at the Button Gwinnett District Annual Business Meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 in the Fellowship Hall of Christ the King Lutheran Church, 5575 Peachtree Parkway (the location of our District Committee meetings and Roundtable). Let me start by saying that I am humbled and honored to serve as the Boy Scout Roundtable District Commissioner. From the first meeting I attended, I came to realize the importance of this monthly meeting in serving the needs of all the units in Button Gwinnett District. Topics will range from specific ranking requirements, to BSA policies and procedures, to fun activities.
