(1491 Parks Mill Road, Greensboro, GA 30642)...there are certainly back-road routes also, but this is the least confusing.

Great News for Button Gwinnett Friends of Scouting

Congratulations to our Button Gwinnett district for reaching 100% of our $110,000 Friends of Scouting goal for 2016. We have reached 100%, but the campaign is far from over- we still have several presentations in May. We had a good start at the Golden Eagle Luncheon in December and then presentations at Packs, Troops, and Crews went exceptionally well. Many Packs, Troops, and Crews reached 100% or more of their Friends of Scouting goal and Button Gwinnett currently has the highest participation rate in the Council- about 30% of our families have pledged. You all should be very proud of your commitment to supporting Scouting in Atlanta. I'm looking forward to achieving 110% of our goal!

If you have not had a chance yet, please support Atlanta Scouting with a pledge toward the annual Friends of Scouting campaign. If you have pledged already for 2016, thank you!!!

Button Gwinnett is looking to gain $5,000 worth of pledges between now and next Friday, April 22^nd.

If you have not yet, please make a pledge to support Scouting at www.AtlantaBSA.org/Give or email DE Delaney Webb at dwebb@atlantabsa.org with your name & pledge amount. Remember this is a pledge to be paid during 2016 and no money is due now!

Friends of Scouting supports our camps, trainings, programs, and materials, and helps Scouts that cannot afford uniforms, camp, and books.

Button Gwinnett has had lots of success with Friends of Scouting so far this year, starting at the Golden Eagle banquet in December and continuing with presentations at Packs, Troops, and Crews and we appreciate your support.
