RSVP how many are attending by May 10 -the sooner the better! We're partnering with Gwinnett County Parks for a service project that ALL Scout ages can attend! Remember, most Boy Scout ranks now need service hours. This project is open to all units - Cubs, Boy Scouts, Venture Crews, Order of the Arrow, etc.

On Wednesday the BSA activated new on-line Venturing Position Specific training at BSA LearnCenter. If you log-in to your my.scouting.org account, then you can access Venturing training by clicking on the Position Specific Training button on the right side if the page or follow this link - http://bsalearn.learn.taleo.net/Members. You can also access the training center through the "My Dashboard" feature at my.scouting.org.

Now Crew Advisors, Assistant Advisors, Committee Chairs and Committee Members can either attend the face training or complete the modules on-line to be considered "trained" by the BSA. I think the on-line training offers a great opportunity to significantly increase the number of trained Venturing Leaders.
