Help Your Unit Funding with 2019's Popcorn Sales

Register your unit to sell NOW at www.atlantabsa.org/popcorn. Training for new Kernels will be held on Saturday, 6/15 at the Service Center. Kickoff dates are 7/20, 7/27 and 8/3. Kernels needing a training refresher can stay after for optional training. Contact District Kernel Tracy Brookshire with questions at 770-757-9648.

Interested in Welcoming the Swedish World Jamboree Scouts to Atlanta?

There are 3 Swedish Troops (120 Swedish Scouters--approx. half male / half female) coming to Atlanta during the July 10-13 timeframe on their way to the World Jamboree being hosted in the US this year. They are looking to meet and tour Atlanta with local Scouters between Wed, July 10 and Sunday, July 14.

Current tour plans are:

Thursday - The National Center for Civil & Human Rights

Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Various touring of downtown Atlanta

The first troop arrives Wednesday night and is looking to meet and tour with scouts Thursday thru Saturday. A 2nd troop would like to meet and tour with scouts on Saturday & Sunday. The 3rd troop would like to meet and tour with scouts on Saturday. This is a terrific opportunity for Atlanta Scouts, Venturers, Sea Scouts age 14-17 to meet & host international scouters. "Underwater Adventure" - Cub Day Camp, June 10-13

REMINDER: Camp runs from 8:30am-4pm M-W and 8:30am-1pm on Thursday. Parents and Volunteers pre-camp meetings on Sunday, June 9 at Duluth First United Methodist Church.
