In conjunction with the 2020 (and final) Button Gwinnett District Klondike Derby, we are offering a 20th anniversary fundraiser commemorative patch. The design and order form are attached. It will be a 4" round, all white version of the 2020 participant patch.

Univeristy of Scouting will be coming February 29, 2020 so save the date and spread the word to your parents and leaders!

The University of Scouting is THE place to be! With more than 60 classes to choose from that range from the beginning leader/Cub Scout parent to Scouts BSA leader/veteran Venture Crew advisor or youth in a leadership role, you are assured of finding the help you are looking for! University of Scouting is a one-day supplemental training that offers everything from the most basic Leader Specific training to more advanced sessions. This year will feature lots of new and exciting classes designed to help you, the unit leader, take your unit to the next level of program.

Recharter THIS SATURDAY!

The Button Gwinnett Distruct will have its annual Recharter Saturday event at Simpsonwoor United Methodist Church from 8:00 AM until noon in the Family Life center.  The Church address is 4500 Jones Bridge Circle, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092.  Please bring your recharter paperwork and turn in your recharter and JTE form.  We will also accept recharter and JTE forms at the November Roundtable on Tuesday, November 19th.  See attached files with codes and instructions.

The calendar incorrectly had 11/12 as Roundtable date. Please note that it is the 3rd Tuesday as usual (since Thanksgiving is the following week). That has been corrected.

Help your Scouts Earn Scouting's Most Prestigious Environmental Award

Scouts should register now for a weekend dedicated to conservation and learning, while working toward earning the William T. Hornaday Awards. Scouts will have the opportunity to earn up to 4 merit badges from 18 Hornaday Award merit badges being offered (including all 6 required merit badges). Early bird registration lasts through May 30^st and costs $75 and includes al meals, a patch and a T-shirt. New 2019 Cubs and their Families - Join us for Cub Scout Blastoff in 2 weeks!

Bring your family to Cub Scout Blast Off to launch rockets, shoot archery, and visit the BB range. Cub Scout Blast Off will be held at Rogers Bridge Park in Duluth and will offer all the things your child is looking forward to in Cub Scouts.

If your child is a registered Cub Scout it will only cost $3 per child. If they need to register for Cub Scouts you will pay a small fee for registration and $3 for the event.
