Cub Training This Saturday & Scouts BSA Training Oct 19th

Trained leaders are critical to the success of Scouting. Every young person involved in the Scouting program needs and deserves a leader who understands the aims of the program and knows how to deliver it with enthusiasm and fun. Trained leaders are more effective at delivering the promise of Scouting because they understand their role, responsibilities, and the resources available to them. To achieve that responsibility Button-Gwinnett will be hosting in-person position specific training for Cubmaster, Den Leader, Pack Committee, Scoutmaster, Troop Committee, and Merit Badge Counselor. Each class limited to 40 people. If you register by 9/1 there will be no cost associated, $5 registration after 9/1/19 per class. This will be done at Peachtree Corners Ward: 5995 Spalding Dr, Norcross, GA 30092. There are two registration links below, one for each program. 62th Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) - Join Scouters from Around the World & Earn Radio Merit Badge

Scouts of any age can participate. Two Radio Merit Badge Classes will be offered; Space will be limited to 30 students. VFW Post 5255, 368 Grayson Highway, Lawrenceville, GA. Webelos Woods 2019 - Don't Miss Out!

Calling all Button Gwinnett Packs & Troops! Make plans to attend this fun annual event for all Webelos and Arrow of Light patrols - come and see what Boy Scouting is all about!

Come for the weekend, or just for Saturday! Saturday lunch is included with registration; all other meals are with your Pack or Troop (and a great opportunity to practice outdoor cooking skills!) Registration fee is just $10 per youth; $4 per adult and includes a patch and lunch.

Scout BSA Troops are needed to help run the activity stations. Scout troops who volunteer receive a special STAFF patch.
