New Eagle Scout Service Project Proposal Reviewer

Richard Seelos is taking over as Eagle Scout Service Project Proposal Reviewer for Button Gwinnett District.

The Proposal review process can still be handled via e-mail. Send the Eagle Scout Service Project Proposal to eagleadvancement@gwinnettbsa.org for review. Include the saved Eagle Scout Service Project Workbook (.pdf) and a Scan of the signature page (with the four required signatures). The proposal will be reviewed and approved as appropriate.

If there are specific questions or area's of concern for the Proposal review—mention those in the e-mail body.

Free Firewood.... needs to be picked up this weekend before next Tuesday.

The 2018 Spring Camporee time is upon us. Come back to Parks Ferry Campground on the shores of Lake Oconee as the Tella Qualla Boundary Chapter of the Order of the Arrow presents a Knights of the Roundtable themed Spring Camporee.

Eagle Recognition Ceremony - March 27, 2018

A reception (meet/greet) will be held at 6:00pm on the first floor of the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, 75 Langley Drice, Lawrenceville, GA. Immediately following the reception, the Board of Commissioners will recognize the Eagle Scouts and Girl Scouts Gold Award recipients in the Auditorium at 7:00pm. If you earned your Eagle Scout Rank in 2017, then the reception is for you. See the Eagle Scout Page under District Advancement for a list of the 2017 Eagle Scouts from Button Gwinnett District. THIS Saturday (Feb 17): University of Scouting

University of Scouting (UoS) is the premier training council event of the year. Because successful units are led by trained leaders, UoS provides an opportunity for Scouters to receive supplemental and position specific training. There are also classes for youth leaders and commissioners. We encourage your leadership team to attend UoS together.
