It is coming up to that time of year again. Beginning in January 2018, elections for the Order of the Arrow will begin. An email will be sent out to all unit leaders in late October to early November with more information and a link for sign up genius to schedule your units Election date. Sign up early to get the date you want.

Fall weather is finally here and so is the kickoff of the Gwinnett Great Days of Service! This is the 18^thannual sponsored by the Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services. If you would like to participate this October 20^th and/or 21^st, there is a need for close to 2000 volunteers, so please consider making a difference! There are a variety of over 400 projects with a need for help, so there is something for all ages and abilities. I will personally be facilitating the Park’Nership project on October 21st, so please join me and the Gwinnett Parks Foundation for this great event at DeShong Park in Stone Mountain (special note, you get lunch at Park’Nership workdays)!

Venturing is youth led, youth run, and adult mentored. That last point is often overlooked, but is critical to the success of the first two. In order for our Venture youth to be properly mentored, it starts with adult training.
