This is a reminder that Crew 9236 will be collecting Klondike Derby payments and rosters at next week's District Roundtable. (location: Christ Church Episcopal - 400 Holcomb Bridge Road, Norcross, GA 30071)  Roundtable begins at 7:30, but someone will be available to receive your checks/cash and rosters starting at 7:00.  Payment is $10 per person, youth or adult.  Please make checks payable to Crew 9236.

Thanks to the dedicated work of our Unit volunteers, District Committee, and Commissioners, I am proud to announce that the Button Gwinnett District has acheived Gold status on 2013 Journey to Excellece! We are one of only 3 Districts in our Council to acheive this honor. Looking forward to a strong 2014!

Cub Scout Summer Camp Kick-Off

The Atlanta Area Council is hosting a Summer Camp Kick-off for Cub Scout Packs on January 30, 2014.  The kick-off for all Pack Leaders who have questions about the Cub Scout Resident Camps at Bert Adams.  Resident Summer Camp is an excellent way to earn achievements, work on Scouting activities and enjoy a few days at Bert Adams Scout Reservation.
