Work Day at Faith Grace Baptist Church... (Formerly Norcross Prebyterian).

Posted on Nov 18 2020 - 5:25pm

The church just reached out to me that they will be having a work day this Saturday starting at noon to help fix the pavilion from the tree falling on it.

If anyone can come out and lend a hand it would be appreciated.  I will edit this announcement as I get details on what is needed.\

Request for additional chainsaws (if you have them).

Help for Faith Grace Baptist Church ... Formerly Norcross Presbyterian..

Posted on Nov 3 2020 - 7:04pm

This is where Troop 648 is currently meeting and will probably be rechartering us next year.

For those who remember the church has a Pavilion behind it that we have used for a lot of different scout/training events over the years.  The storm last week
put a a big oak tree onto the pavilion.

I am looking for a scout friendly / scouter who has a tree service that could lend a hand in getting it off the pavilion and cut up.  This is a professional job as the oak is probably
3-4 feet at the trunk.

If anyone knows of anyone please send me there contact info at  :  marckarasek@gmail.com
