Cub Recruiters needed!

Posted on Aug 25 2022 - 8:39pm

Over the next few weeks, we will be recruiting for Cub Scouts at the elmentary schools in the district.  As a part of that, we can use help with signup nights.  You don't need any special skills or training, just be able to help new parents get registered and get some basic information about things like meeting times.  The signup nights typically happen in the evening at 6 PM and last about an hour, so it is not a huge commitment.  If you think you can help out, contact Howard at hjetmundsen@gmail.com for more information and details.

Looking for Spanish Speaking Adults and Scouts

Posted on Aug 25 2022 - 8:35pm

If you have adults or Scouts in your unit that are proficient in Spanish, their help would greatly be appreciated for Cub recruiting.  The specific need is to have people who speak Spanish on hand at several elementary school signup nights to help people whose first language is Spanish to fill our applications and to answer any questions that might arise.  If you have people that might be able to help, they can contact Howard at hjetmundsen@gmail.com or John Allen at john.allen3@scouting.org.
