Friends of Scouting is the annual fundraising event to help fund council operations for things like Summer Camp, the service center, and Scoutreach, enabling those who might not be able to fully afford scouting to fully participate.  We will be reaching out, but if your unit has not yet scheduled a date to have a presentation, please contact Howard Jetmundsen (hjetmundsen@gmail.com) to get that on your calendar.  

As we come out of Covid, we are working on putting a new face (and set of faces) on roundtable.  We would like to get a couple of volunteers from every unit to help us with that.  It would be great to identify parents who want to get involved but are still looking for their thing.  Over the next month, we will be reaching out, but if you have anyone, or if you have questions, you can contact Natalie Bates at nbdixon@gmail.com.

The District will be holding the District AOL Crossover event on March 6.  Time and place will be announced soon.  Until then, if you have questions, contact Howard Jetmundsen at hjetmundsen@gmail.com.

We will be meeting Tuesday night at Truck and Tap in Duluth to have a productive social.  We will meet at 7 PM.  Topics of discussion will be 'how do we get scouts and scouters back in the game after 2 years of Covid, and planning for the unexpected (The Backup Plan).  No Scout Uniforms for this event.

This Month's Roundtable will be held this coming Tuesday Nov 16 at 7 PM.  The discussion will center around understanding the personality of your unit.  Understanding that your unit has a personality will help you shape your program and your recruiting.
